Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said: “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of Heaven are OPENED and the gates of Hell are CLOSED and the devils are chained.” (Saheeh Al Bukhari)
This Ramadan, we braced ourselves to provide opportunities for our girls to enjoy blessings of Ramadan and learn about the importance of it as well from Islamic perspective. We were blessed to have Meerab Khan, a young enthusiastic girl, who volunatarily joined us to teach our children some moral lessons through Islamic stories. The storytelling sessions were valuable. We are grateful for her contributions and sincere dedication towards well-being of our girls.
We also hosted an aftar party at our HOME Trust for the needy children from our neighborhood to teach our children to offer help to those in need and serve them with love and mercy. Alhumdulilah that we are able to change dynamics for our girls. Also, we had great fun as our friends joined us too, so together it became a memorable event and Ramadan.
We are grateful to Mishyal Zia and her organization that helped us in organizing this aftar party and bring our dream of hosting needy children at our HOME to reality. Alhumdulilah for meeting such amazing humans in Pakistan. She also gifted our children with Eid dresses which fit them perfectly and they flaunted it with so much joy and pride. MashaAllah.
The volunteers engaged children into playful activities and it is one of the memorable days for our children and those in our community. Alhumdulilah.
